NSDC invites applications for the full time position of Monitoring Coordinator (Monitoring, MIS-PMKVY & PMKK Operations)

New Delhi : The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a one-of-its-kind, Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in India, under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). It aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. A not-for-profit company set up by the Ministry of Finance, under Section 25 of the Companies Act.

NSDC provides funding to build scalable and profitable vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable support system which focuses on quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organizations that provide skill training. It will also develop appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives. The differentiated focus on 21 sectors under NSDC’s purview and its understanding of their viability will make every sector attractive to private investment.

Job Summary:

This job is responsible for working with numbers, Excel spreadsheets, formulae, queries and software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the monitoring visit tracker and consequence management tracker
Analysis of data for the entire scheme and stakeholder reporting
Present data as per the requirement of the business, not limited to MSDE, NSDC, SSC, etc
Communicate and handle responses of TPs/TCs
Investigate cases of non-compliance and present the same to the committees.
Perform surprise visits in accordance with the business requirement
Communicate with stakeholders during walk ins
Explore and update about new technologies in the field of monitoring and work closely with the Monitoring Head.

Qualification and Experience : Post Graduate in management or social sector with 3-4 years of relevant work experience.

Skills Required:

Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access, analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse group of people, highly trainable, quick learner, adaptability to changes.
Knowledge of basic government reporting viz RTIs, PQs, Grievances
Working knowledge and innovative skills in VBA Excel could be an additional advantage
