NCVET Awarding Body Recognition: New Partners Announced

National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and LabourNet Livelihood Foundation (LLF) have signed agreement for NCVET Recognition as Awarding Body (AB – Standard) to LLF. Through this recognition,

  • LLF will be eligible to award and certify the learners where training is directly being imparted by the Awarding Body in campuses or training centers owned or fully managed by it for its approved or adopted qualifications.
  • This status authorizes LLF to develop nationally recognized qualifications and deliver programs mapped to the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF), ensuring certifications.

Focus: Focusing on sectors such as Beauty & Wellness, IT-ITES, Retail, Capital Goods, and Green Energy, LLF’s interventions span skilling and upskilling to drive measurable workforce elevation.


NCVET and Orion Educational Society (OES) have signed agreement for NCVET Recognition as Awarding Body (AB – Standard). Through this recognition,

  • OES will be eligible to award and certify the learners where training is directly being imparted by the Awarding Body in campuses or training centers owned or fully managed by it for its approved or adopted qualifications.
  • With PAN India territorial jurisdiction, OES specializes in vocational skill development and certification across job roles aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF).
  • The Society’s integrated program model combines hands-on practical training with recognized industry certifications and structured placement support.

Focus: By focusing on marginalized youth and women, OES aims to empower communities through sustainable livelihood interventions and entrepreneurship facilitation.


NCVET & Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru have signed agreement for NCVET Recognition as Awarding Body (AB – Dual) to KSOU.

  • KSOU will be eligible to award, assess and certify the learners where training is directly being imparted by the Awarding Body in campuses or training centers owned or fully managed by it for its approved or adopted qualifications.
  • KSOU to function with Karnataka State territorial jurisdiction, significantly enhancing access to quality vocational education and skilling through the Open University model.

Focus: To adopt recognized certification programs and incorporate skill assessment benchmarks in its curriculum, specifically in high-growth sectors such as IT, healthcare, and other trades.


NCVET and Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University have signed an agreement for NCVET Recognition as Awarding Body (AB–Dual) to Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University.

  • The University will be eligible to award, assess and certify learners where training is directly being imparted by the Awarding Body in campuses or training centres owned or fully managed by it for its approved or adopted qualifications.
  • The first KKHSOU qualification “Solar Plant Installation and Maintenance Technician” under the Environmental Sciences sector has already been approved. This initiative is expected to significantly strengthen the renewable energy ecosystem in Assam by equipping youth with technical competencies required for installation and maintenance of solar power systems.
  • It plans to scale up skill development initiatives in renewable energy to create a trained workforce capable of installing and maintaining solar energy plants across the region, thereby supplementing government efforts in augmenting green energy potential in the North East.

Focus: To introduce NCVET-recognised skill qualifications in sectors such as health, hospitality, agriculture, and tourism to address emerging manpower requirements and promote sustainable regional development.


NCVET and Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park (SSR GSP), Bhopal have signed agreement for NCVET Recognition as Awarding Body (AB – Dual) to SSR Global Skills Park.

  • SSRGSP will be eligible to award, assess and certify the learners where training is directly being imparted by the Awarding Body in campuses or training centers owned or fully managed by it for its approved or adopted qualifications.

The SSR GSP qualification “Fundamentals of PLC & Sensors Technology,” has already obtained NCVET approval.
