Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM) to start Skill Development Center of Agriculture at PAU

Ludhiana : A team of senior officers of Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM) visited Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) on Thursday. The delegation was led by Ashok Prashar, additional mission director, PSDM, and comprised members namely Atin Garg, mission manager, PSDM, and Rakesh Jha, consultant, PSDM.

The team interacted with R.S. Sidhu, director of extension education, PAU; D.S. Bhatti, additional director of extension education; H.S. Bajwa, senior extension specialist; T.S. Riar, professor of extension education, and in-charge, Kairon Kisan Ghar; Rupinder Kaur, professor of extension education; and Kulvir Kaur, assistant professor, PAU. They discussed the operationalization of Skill Development Centre of Agriculture, being established at PAU, for honing the skills of the youth in different enterprises, leading to increased production as well as income. The team also visited construction of Skill Development Centre and Boys and Girls Hostel at PAU.
