New Delhi: The Capital Goods & Strategic Skill Council (CGSSC) successfully participated in the India AI Impact Summit 2026 held from 16–20 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, reinforcing its commitment to advancing responsible, scalable, and future-ready Artificial Intelligence in the Capital Goods sector.

As part of its showcase, CGSSC presented a live Welding Robot/Cobot demonstration, drawing strong interest from industry leaders, academia, and innovators. The exhibit highlighted the growing convergence of AI, robotics, and advanced manufacturing, and underscored the importance of preparing a future-ready workforce aligned with emerging technologies.

On Day 1 of the summit, the CGSSC stall was honored by the visit of Jayant Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State (I/C) for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. On Day 2, senior officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs also visited the stall, reflecting strong institutional interest in AI-led manufacturing and skilling initiatives.

Throughout the three-day engagement, CGSSC facilitated meaningful dialogue, technical demonstrations, and stakeholder interactions, effectively bridging the gap between technology adoption and skill development. The participation reaffirmed that Artificial Intelligence is rapidly becoming a core driver of transformation in the Capital Goods sector.

CGSSC concluded its presence at the summit with renewed momentum to strengthen industry partnerships and accelerate workforce readiness for the AI-enabled manufacturing ecosystem. The Council remains committed to supporting the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 through impactful collaborations and next-generation skilling initiatives.
