Important: NSDC issues clarification on the Expressions of Interest for Setting up Driver Training Institutes
Background: MSDE through National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), envisions to set up Driver Training Institutes (DTI) in India to produce skilled drivers across India covering:
(i) Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs)/Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs),
(ii) Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs) and
(iii) Heavy Equipment (HE)/Industrial Equipment.
The purpose of this EoI is to establish Driver Training Institute in various towns and cities across India with the support of organizations who have the business capabilities to expand, modernize and operate Driver Training Institutes, adopting technology and managerial practices consistent with emerging sectoral demand.
This EOI has some changes for which NSDC has issued clarifications for the same. Interested applicants should read the clarification as mentioned in the document below.
