Rubber Board starts rubber tapping skill development school
Kottayam : Rubber Board has started a rubber tapping skill development school for imparting training on Rubber Latex Harvesting and Processing at Amayannoor.
Joint Rubber Production Commissioner C Sabu inaugurated the school at a function the Rubber Producers Society.
Course duration for the programme will be 30 days. Growers who wish to tap their trees can undergo the training. The Board will award course certificate along with Rs 100 per day as stipend to the trainees who successfully complete the programme.
