Position: Program Manager

Location:  New Delhi, Dehradun

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification:
— Master’ degree in Social Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences with 6- 10 years relevant experience in NGO partnership management, program monitoring & evaluation and quality audit systems.
— Diploma or certificate in computer applications would be an added advantage.
Experience: 
— 5 years demonstrated experience in community development programs design and management, including field experiences and the management of budgets and human resources.
— NGO partnership management in selection, planning, implementation and monitoring of projects through partnerships in the sectors of health, education, livelihoods/ women’s empowerment and disability;
— Working knowledge of Indian regulations pertaining to society’s registration, FCRA, Income Tax, etc.
— Strong record of management of teams, including remote management experience.
— Experience of close working relationships with partners and consortia.
— Proven experience in planning and budgeting.
— Experience in qualitative monitoring methodologies and analysis.
— Work experience in an international agency and/ or health and/ or rural development sector would be an advantage.

Skills required:
— Skilled at report writing and drafting binding contracts/ agreements.
— Excellent presentation and communications skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to analyze and disseminate information effectively.
— English language proficiency. Knowledge of South Indian Language would be an added advantage.

As a member of the THF Program Team, the Project Manager will play a vital role in evaluating; supervising and executing THF funded programs. He/ she assisted by Deputy Project Manager, will be responsible for regular monitoring, periodic reviews and coordinating programs run by the NGO Partners. He/ she will ensure proper and timely utilization of funds and program adherence by the Partners, and assist the Director- Programs & Evaluation towards the overall goal of the Foundation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
— Play a key role in the appraisal of new project proposals and partner selection.
— Provide technical support to partners for improvement of management systems and processes.
— Monitor projects to ensure that deliverables are achieved with quality and within budget and timelines.
— Review partner progress reports, analyze contents and provide feedback and action plans.
— Write case studies, Quarterly and Annual Reports and any other publication as need arises.
— Ensure that program funds are utilized in accordance with approved activities and standard financial procedures.
— Embark upon field visits to monitor projects, visit partners and accompany visitors/ delegations to highlight THF Projects.
— Provide guidance to the Deputy Program Managers and supervise their functions for effective management of the projects and establish strong local NGO partnerships.
— Assist the management in preparing Annual Program Plans and Budgets.
— Coordinate with the Finance and Administration team, to ensure effective implementation, proper financial management and project reviews.
— Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Management Team.

Remuneration: Salary would be competitive and commensurate with the last drawn salary and relevant experience. The starting salary for the position would be INR. 8,00,000 to INR 12,00,000 per annum based on the qualification, experiences and competencies of the candidate.
