Contract Duration: Initial contract till 31 December 2017. (Further extension based on performance and operational Requirements).

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
— Secondary School Education with a post-secondary training in Economics, socio-economic development studies or related field.
— A University degree in economics, socio-economic development, development studies or other related fields will be an added advantage.
Experience:
— Minimum 4 years of professional job experience relevant to the functions.
— A proven ability to act with discretion and diplomacy is essential for this function.
Skills required:
— Familiarity with the livelihood concepts and terminology.
— Excellent written and spoken English, including proven drafting and editing skills.
Roles and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Durable Solutions Officer the Sr. Livelihood Assistant will perform the following duties:
— Provide technical assistance to further strengthen the urban livelihood program.
— Support in developing cooperation arrangements with selected service providers operating in the field of livelihoods, financial institutions, vocational training and private companies.
— Assist in the design and implementation of the Livelihood Review.
— Maintain updated information on issues and policy changes that may affect livelihood opportunities for refugees, and ongoing measures by the Government and other institutions that can affect or contribute to the achievement of strategic goals for refugee livelihoods.
— Assist in the implementation, together with the Project Partners, of the monitoring framework to assess if the set indicators and the progress is met in line with the work plan and agreed content in the partner agreement.
— Undertake any other duties as required.
Remuneration: A fixed taxable monthly salary of INR. 64,347.00
