Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) offering FREE Job-Oriented Skill Training for unemployed educated youth

Nagercoil (Tamil Nadu) : The Nagercoil Telecom District of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is offering a free job-oriented skill development training programme for unemployed educated youths in association with Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation.

A release said the BSNL would impart latest telecom technologies to the candidates. Those who attend the training programme regularly would be given a traveling allowance of Rs. 100. The training course included theory and practical classes and hands-on field training in telecom systems and outdoor units of the BSNL.

At the end of the training, the candidates would be issued a course completion certificate from the State government and BSNL. The first batch of training would start on January 17. Those who register online before January 13 could attend the first batch. Those who register later would be allotted places in subsequent batches.

Those who passed SSLC could participate in the six-week and two-week courses on Infrastructure Engineering, Optical Fibre Splicer, Optical Fibre Technician, Broadband Technician, Tower Technician courses.

Those who completed diploma course could undergo six-week training programme on Network Management Engineering. B.E. and B.Tech candidates could join a seven-week training programme on ICT Engineering.

At the time of reporting for training course, candidates should bring a printed copy of their online application and a photocopy of Aadhaar card. Candidates should bring their original certificate of qualification, community certificate, bank account in their name for online transfer of TA. Candidates would have to undergo a screening test/interview.

Interested candidates should register online at http://rgmttc.bsnl.co.in /job portal . Participating in the training programme would not entitle to claim any form of recruitment in the BSNL.
