Jharkhand Skill Development Mission launched ‘Hunar’ portal to bring state’s entire skills ecosystem online

Ranchi : Jharkhand Development Skill Mission Society on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja brought entire ecosystem of skill development present in the State online for the users. ‘Hunar’ portal especially developed and designed for this purpose would manage execution of the programme, data management and programme implementation in paperless manner.

The portal would act like any job portal for the employers which would be used for uploading vacancies, call letters, interview schedule, offer letters and other related information for the benefit of the skilled manpower of the State. Even certified trainers can also register on the portal which would also work for convergence among all the departments.

Agencies like NULM, DDUGKY, Kalyan Gurukul, Labour Department and others would upload their MIS data which would also help in assessing the success and performance of the scheme all over the State.

Director Ravi Ranjan expressed hope that the portal would provide facilities like registration, jobs, self-employment etc to the trainees. CEO Amar Jha said the portal would cover entire life cycle of the Society along with ensuring transparency. Youths between 18-35 years can get information through the Hunar portal about training providers, centers, related trades and sectors as per their choice from anywhere in the State. Training centers can also get registrations and accreditation along with formation of batches, their management, certification and invoice raising online.
