Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras intends to empanel companies through this Expression of Interest EOI to provide Skilled Manpower Service – Relevant to AI Solution Deployment in Manufacturing Industry
Background and Requirement:
Walmart Inc. and IIT Madras have instituted a Center for Tech Excellence named as Walmart Center for Tech Excellence, IITM with a vision to deliver AI driven solutions to the MSME’s in the manufacturing industry. As part of the deployment plan, the Center is empanelling solution providers that can accelerate the delivery of projects to the manufacturing industry.
In specific, the Center is looking at the following areas of delivery:
- Computer Vision and use of AI
- Safety and sustainability
- Energy optimisation
- Planning and scheduling
- Supply chain management
- AI solutions related to non-destructive engineering
- Platform architects and developers
- IoT and Industry 4.0
- Water treatment
- Novel sensor development
Professionals well versed in end-to-end solution delivery in the above areas, Algorithms and deployment platforms.
Duration:
This agreement will be operational for one year. The empanelment of the vendors can be
extended for an additional two years based on performance.
Note:
- The successful bidder selected will be required to sign a One-year contract/agreement
including IP clause with the IC&SR for providing staff on deputation. - The empanelment of the vendor doesn’t guarantee for any minimum order within the contract
period as the selection is based on Least cost(L1) value every time.
