Tamil Nadu Academy of Construction, Govt. of Tamil Nadu invites tender proposals from interested and eligible agencies for “Selection of Training Provider to impart Online skill up-gradation training in 40 skill courses to 10,000 Higher Education Studying Children of construction workers registered with Tamil Nadu Construction Workers Welfare Board (TNCWWB)”.
Objective
The Tamil Nadu Construction Workers Welfare Board (TNCWWB) aims to Acquisition of Additional Skill under Skill Development Program (Online) to Children of Construction Workers engaged in building and other allied construction activities, considering the opportunities for better employment in the digital era, which is presently facing a huge dearth of skilled manpower. It is also designed to prepare the candidates to become new entrepreneurs in any sector.
The Tamil Nadu Construction Workers Welfare Board intends to extend the skill development programs online to children of construction workers. The applicant agencies need to broadly adhere to relevant guidelines of online skill training programs as lay down by the Board/ Department from time to time.
The Board/ Department as per the requirement may extend the scheme to the other interested children of workers registered under the Tamil Nadu Construction Workers Welfare Board.
Scope of Work
The objective of this engagement is to conduct online skill development training in 40 courses to the Children of Construction workers. Service provider shall carry out the following, but not limited to:
- Skill upgradation training in 40 courses to the 10,000 Children of Construction workers registered with Tamil Nadu Construction Workers Welfare Board obtaining Higher Education Financial assistance.
- Facilitate high-quality, demand-driven training programs with standardized curriculum through qualified trainers
- Adhere to the curriculum standards provided by TAC in imparting training, subject to revision based on skill requirements
- Training Provider will have to mobilize candidates by conducting special camps/drives etc separately or in association with TAC/Labour Department.
- Selected Training Partner must develop a dashboard showing trainee participation, training delivery monitoring, and evaluation.
- 5 % of the total project cost shall be payable to the TAC towards administration charges such as engagement of MIS Staff and overhead costs for utilizing the assets of the Department.
- As per the timelines fixed by TAC, assessment will be completed to the trained students and certification will be jointly done by Training Provider and TAC.
