Admissions open for Skill Development certificate programmes at IECD, Bharathidasan University in Tamil Nadu

The Institute of Entrepreneurship and Career Development (IECD) of Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu would offer job-oriented skill development certificate programmes with scholarships. The three-month programmes, leading to a university certificate, are offered on Office Automation with Tally, Tally. ERP 9, Computer Hardware and Networking, Desktop Publishing. Besides, six-month diploma programmes in Computer Application and Photography and Videography are also offered.

Students, unemployed youths and women can undergo the programmes. The minimum qualification is SSLC. Fifty per cent scholarship would be given to SC/ST candidates, 25 per cent to MBC and BC candidates, cent per cent to persons with disabilities for all certificate programmes. The programmes would be held in three batches of two-and-a-half hour durations each on week days. Admission will be open till July 12 and the programmes will begin on July 15, K.Parthasarathy, Director, IECD, said in a press release. For more information, dial 2332638.
