Hyderabad : The Government of Andhra Pradesh has a vision to be among the three best states in India by 2022 and to achieve the status of a developed state by 2029. To spearhead the skilling activities at the state level, a separate Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Innovation has been set up along with its implementing arm – Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), as the forefront of all skilling initiatives in the State. APSSDC would be forefront in identifying futuristic skills requirements of the emerging sectors that fetches entrepreneurial and job opportunities for the youth of Andhra Pradesh. In this direction, APSSDC is now inviting applications from youth to get trained in the area of Drone and related applications.
According to PWC drone based services is poised be a $200B market in next few years. This will create millions of jobs in skills related drones similar to airline industry. We intend to start a center to create skill set of Drone Assembly, Drone Piloting , Operation, Maintenance and Drone based Data Processing and Report Generation. At the end of the training each student team would be provided a drone which they can use to start their own drone services company. Currently drone service providers charge anywhere between Rs 10,000 to 100,000 per day of service. Drone Pilots are paid starting salaries of Rs 30,000 to 70,000 . Training would be provided by Omnipresent Robot Tech Pvt Ltd. India’s Leading drone services company which serves leading industries such as Reliance Refineries, Adani Ports, Adani Power, J K Cement and Tata Advanced. Youth through this program will have a great opportunity to be an entrepreneur / exciting career with drone companies nationally and worldwide.
Introduction to Drone Trainings:
DRONES: Drones have manifold applications like industrial inspection, maintenance & repair of oil & gas platforms, assets, utilities, infrastructure & energy parks, remote sensing for mapping & surveying (orthographic photos to generate point clouds, volume calculations, digital height and 3D models), precision agriculture for crop, soil and irrigation monitoring, structural analysis in assessment, archaeology & heritage monument inspection, documentation with aerial imaging, and as first responders in accident, fire or crisis. More and more areas of applications are emerging. Presently, the training programme is being offered in the area of Drone Pilots and Drone Data Processing Technicians.
Apart from applications, there is also tremendous potential in Drone related application development & R& D areas such as flight dynamics & control theory research, flight automation & reproduction, computer vision & SLAM research , swarming intelligence & networking. In this context, shortly APSSDC also would be establishing state-of-art Research and Development Centre in the state.
Programme Details: 3 Month, full time, Residential Programme.
Eligibility: Serious zeal to enterprise job and entrepreneurial opportunities and exploring attitude.
Possessing Qualifications: B.E/ B.Tech or higher in Mechanical, Software or Electronics/Diploma in Electronics / Mechanical / Civil other 3-year graduation/ MBA with fair understanding on IT & drone applications.
Selection Procedure: For all candidates who applied as per eligibility criteria and proforma, an online test will be organized in APSSDC Testing Centres across the state. Candidates will be sent through communication on district wise centres well before the online test. The test date will be communicated shortly to candidates.
Other condition: Final Selected Candidates has to deposit a caution deposit of Rs.10,000/- to the corporation, which is refundable upon successful completion of the course.
