NTPC Ramagundam launched Vocational Skill Training Programme as CSR initiative
The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ramagundam, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, recently launched a three-month vocational skill development programme for local youth in Elkapalli village of Ramagundam mandal.
About 20 youth from the nearby villages would be imparted training in electrical motor winding and house-wiring, and help them secure self-employment in their villages. The NTPC will bear the cost of the training, course material, and faculty charges and an NGO, Creche will coordinate the programme.
The training programme was inaugurated by village sarpanch P. Srinivas.
