Eligibility Requirements:
Experience: People with advocacy and lobby experience in skill development should only apply. No trainers are required.
Skills required: Lobby and advocacy related to foundation, transferable and technical skills development in India and Bangladesh. Takes care of linking & learning, and offering Edukans advisory services to third parties and acquiring project and program financing.
Job Role:
Essential duties and responsibilities:
— Develops and implements lobby and advocacy plans and campaigns related to transferable and technical skills development in cooperation with relevant actors
— Develops and implements strategies and projects for transferable and technical skills development and skills training in close cooperation with relevant actors
— Advises on the implementation of these strategies, lobby plans, campaigns and projects
— Develops good practices based on evidence
— Set-up fruitful partnerships with the private sector
— Operates in close cooperation and communication with the C&C teams in India and Bangladesh. This includes all program stages, partner and stakeholder interaction and C&C team operations
— Share knowledge and experience about skills development with colleagues in the ICCO Cooperation
— Guarantees that the learning process leads to improvements of the Edukans skills model
— Supports the acquisition of project and program funding and is responsible for developing and managing successful relationships with existing and potential donors in this field
— Maintains close functional relations with Edukans and reports to the Edukans office through ICCo in the Netherlands.

About the Company:
ICCO Cooperation member Edukans is a dynamic NGO based in The Netherlands, which supports educational projects and programmes for underprivileged children and youth in developing countries and mobilizes over 350.000 Dutch students and teachers each year to participate in development activities.
As part of the Edukans contribution to the Strategic Partnership program(SP) ‘Convening and Convincing’, in India EDUKANS has signed a MoU with ICCo India under which ICCo India would provide a Skill Expert for carrying out activities under SP program and other skills related activities.
