Position: Facilitator – District office

Reporting to: District Coordinator
Locations: Yawatmal ( Maharashtra), Barananki ( Uttar Pradesh), Gonda ( Uttar Pradesh), Hazaribag ( Jarkhand), Chatra ( Jharkhand)
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
— Graduation in any discipline. Post graduates will be preferred
— B. Ed
Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience in the education sector/ marketing /sales/development sector
Skills required:
— Language fluency in, Hindi / Marathi. English would be preferable
— Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
— Knowledge in computer applications- word, excel, PowerPoint
— Able to easily integrate into the community, build rapport and develop positive relationships with community residents.
— Good writing skills
— Effectively problem solving and multi-tasking
— Ability to work as a member of a diverse team
— Produces high-quality, meticulous and detailed written work
— Basic competency in managing finance
Roles and Responsibilities:
— Develop understanding of school environment and build rapport with teachers
— Oversee implement and guide the implementation of programs in schools
— Manage extra-curricular activities and provide logistical support for classroom activities
— Plan and conduct trainings for teachers and SMC members as necessary
— Facilitate time to time interactions with school authorities for effective programme implementation
— Provide hand holding support to the school teachers in the programme implementation
— Monitor and review progress and activities on a regular basis in order to ensure the quality of MelJol programs
— Adapt child centered approach to ensure children’s active participation in the programme
— Accomplishment of given tasks as per the time schedule
— Produce quality, analytical reports and other documentation on project activities on regular basis
— Report to the District Coordinator for all administrative and programmatic issues.
