Position: Manager – Education Project

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Social Work/ Social Science/ Development/ Education/ Management
Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of demonstrated experience in projects in education.

Skills required: 
— Good understanding of development issues in general and education in particular.
— Excellent written and oral communication skills.
— Strong analytical skills.
— Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
— Ability and willingness to undertake extensive travel within India.
— Fluency in Hindi and English. Knowledge of Marathi would be beneficial.

Roles and Responsibilities:
— To develop a perspective plan for the Foundation’s engagement with NGOs working on education with the reporting supervisor
— To liaise with public and private sector organizations and identify opportunities for engagement.
— To participate actively in conceptualization of the project support/ partnership with the reporting supervisor.
— To review proposals on education and recommend projects that can be supported.
— Monitor and manage the support given to projects at various stages.
