Bengaluru: The Capital Goods & Strategic Skill Council (CGSSC) is proud to announce the 100% placement of its trained students under the Vertical Transportation Industry (VTI) Training Program, conducted in collaboration with the Bharat School of Vertical Transportation (BSVT) — India’s pioneering institute dedicated to elevator and escalator technology.

This joint initiative aims to build specialized talent for India’s capital goods and vertical transportation sector, combining theoretical learning with hands-on technical training delivered by industry-experienced faculty and trainers. The program focuses on developing job-ready professionals capable of excelling in elevator installation, maintenance, and safety operations.

The send-off ceremony held in Bengaluru was graced by Ms. Shalini Singh, CEO, CGSSC, alongside the CEO of BSVT, industry leaders, bureaucrats, trainers, and proud families of the graduating batch. The event celebrated the success of students who are now set to begin their professional journeys with leading elevator and escalator companies.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Shalini Singh said, “This achievement reflects our shared vision with BSVT and our industry partners — to bridge the skill gap, empower youth with global-standard technical expertise, and create sustainable employment opportunities in India’s capital goods sector.”

All trainees from the batch have been successfully placed — 6 students with top-tier companies in India, 10 students preparing for international assignments in the UAE, and 8 students placed in Greece.

This milestone underscores the growing demand for skilled professionals in vertical transportation, and the effectiveness of industry-integrated skill development programs in creating global career pathways for Indian youth.
