Directorate of Technical Education (DTE ) to engage artisans for Government Polytechnics & ITIs

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE ) is going to hold a practical test for engaging artisans of various trades in Government Polytechnic(GP) Jammu and different ITIs of Jammu division. As per Joint Director, DTE the test for the eligible artisans would be held on June 2 at 9 A.M.

The artisans should be Matric Pass with five years experience in the concerned trade and should also be registered with State/Centre Departments. The selected candidates will be engaged on a monthly remuneration of Rs 12,000 per month for a period of one year. Basohli Painting artisans will be engaged at Government Polytechnic Jammu, ITI Jammu and ITI Kathua whereas Artisans trained in Phulkari Arts will be engaged at Govt Polytechnic Women, Jammu, ITI Jammu, ITI Kathua and ITI Poonch while Basohli Shawl weaving artisans will be engaged at ITI Basohli.

All the interested and eligible artisans are asked to participate in practical test along with requisite documents.
