Govt. to open skill development centers in Muslim affected areas: CM

Ranchi : Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that his govt. is committed for the development of the minorities.

For the development of minorities, the central govt. will give Rs 375 crore in 44 blocks. He said that the Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Nakvi will be requested to release the funds soon, said Raghubar Das while addressing a program on Muslim strengthening and skill development at Project Building on Sunday.

The CM said that the govt. will open skill development centers (SDCs) in Muslim affected areas and minorities cells will be opened in every district which will be monitored on minister level. Very soon, the Minority Commission will be formed. Work for Finance Corporation will also be started which will have right to provide loan to skilled children. 100 e-libraries are being started in the state.

He appealed people to come forward to play their role in development of the state. He appealed to the minorities to educate their daughters. The government will open schools and hostels for them. He said that Madarsas should be modernized. By now 36 Madarsas have been approved. He said that educationists of the society should make policy and the government will implement it.

He said that in the days to come, a lot of opportunities will be created for employment. Youths will be skilled with a view to get employed. He appealed to the people to maintain cleanliness of the city.

Welfare Minister Louis Marandi said that 190 grave yards have been approved this year against 184 in 2015-16. Welfare Secretary Rajiv Arun Ekka discussed about the schemes of the department.
