Punjab Skill Development Mission organized Australian master’s class for welder trainers

Hoshiarpur : Punjab Skill Development Mission, in collaboration with UDAY and Capital Goods Sector Council and its Australian training partner TecSkill has organized the Australian Master Class for Welder Trainers. The inaugural ceremony of Mackey School of Welding was held at UDAY’s multi skill development centre.

Harbir Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development), was the chief guest on the occasion.

Harbir Singh said at this stage, there is a big requirement for skilled workers in India to compete at the global level. Such training centres will be very supportive for the development of the country and for providing better employment opportunities for the youth.

In this training programme, 15 welder trainers, who have come from different states of the country, will undergo training under an Australian expert Mark Corrigan.

Param Singh, founder and MD of UDAY’S multi skill development centre, Hoshiarpur, said UDAY has different training centres in six states of India.
