Position: Skill Development Manager
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Skill Development
Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification & Experience: Graduate with a technical/ electrical/ solar background and previous experience in vocational education, training and skill development is preferred. Relevant experience of minimum 2 years.
Renewable energy-related experience will be an added advantage.
Skills required:
- Domain expertise and knowledge of social sector issues in India with a specific focus on skill development
- Highly motivated, responsible, self-directed, resourceful and flexible; Ability to multi-task, Good communication skills
- Willingness to travel
Job Overview: Futures Programme Manager cum Trainer is responsible for leading and facilitating the Futures programme at state level with youth in achieving their dreams and aspirations. This position is based in Pune and reports to State Programme Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain partnerships for skill development and capacity building in the Odisha
- Coordinate training programs in existing skill development labs
- Establish new capacity building centers for technical, finance, innovations and entrepreneurship in clean energy
- Monitor and support training programs and run training of trainer programs
- Facilitate placements and exit interviews with candidates
- Ensure smooth running and documentation of the skill development program
- Coordinate training workshops on a need basis
Remuneration: Salary will be commensurate with experience/qualifications and in line with the organizational structure.
