Exhibition cum Fashion Show organized under HSIIDC Skill Development Project, more than 2000 people attended event

Faridabad : DAKSYA ACADEMY organized the Exhibition Cum Fashion Show at Faridabad (Haryana) on 22nd July 2018.  The event was presented by the 480 nearby village’s trainees skilled have undergone 5-Month (540 Hours) Self Employed Tailor program under the HSIIDC Skill Development Project at Daksya Academy, Unchagaon Faridabad Training Center.

The Exhibition cum Fashion Show was attended by more than 2000 local peoples, wherein the trainees displayed their creative dresses in the kids, ladies and gents segment to the people/industry representatives from Faridabad.  They student also sold and got many order for garments made by them from the visitors and the public attending the exhibition.

The students aspire to earn sustainable livelihoods after completing the Daksya HSIIDC Self Employed Tailor program. The students as well as their families were thankful to HSIIDC and Daksya Academy for this wonderful initiative that has given a big boost to their self-confidence.

Similar Exhibition Cum Fashion Shows have been planned by Daksya Academy in HSIIDC affected villages wherein training has been conducted i.e. Sonipat, Gurgaon, Rohtak and Rewari in coming weeks.   Almost 5000 students will compete with each other to qualify for the HSIIDC Mega SUPER 40 Batches Exhibition planned at Panchkula in the month of September’ 2018.

This program has been sponsored by HSIIDC through Apparel, Made-ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMHSSC) for the people residing in the affected villages of Haryana wherein HSIIDC has acquired land for developing industrial parks. The trainees undergoing the training program at Daksya Academy Silai Training Centers will get a Government Certificate from AMHSSC after passing third party assessment.  The students will also be supported in taking up self-employment opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
