Position: Programme Officer / Programme Associate
Locations: Gujarat, Rajasthan
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Post graduate, preferably in Social Work, Social Science Rural Management/ MBA
Experience: 0-5 years of relevant experience
Skills required: PRA, Participatory training, interface with government officials and other civil society stakeholders, supervision, leadership, documentation, fluency in Gujarati/Hindi and English, computer skills. The persons should have a valid license and know how to drive a 2 wheeler.
Position Details: The position would be Programme Officer / Programme Associate based in a backward block/ taluka in Gujarat that is tribal dominated and Rajasthan that is dominated by dalits.
The project is ‘Improving Access to Information of Public Schemes’ in the area of health, education and social security. Strategically we work in close collaboration with citizen leaders who are unpaid village level volunteers and elected representatives at the panchayat level and mandatory and optional committees at the panchayat level like SMC, VHSNC, SJC, Pani Samiti, VVMC. Also work in close collaboration with government departments wherein experiences drawn from field level implementation of schemes are used to suggest policy level changes for governance reforms.
Remuneration: Negotiable based on experience and skill set.
