The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), through its Centre of Excellence on Skills, has entered into a strategic partnership with Skillbulls Global to introduce a new portfolio of industry-led international Beauty & Wellness skill programmes in India. As part of this collaboration, CII will also launch the CII Institute of Beauty & Wellness, creating a dedicated platform to deliver world-class, industry-led education and skilling in the sector. programs

The Beauty & Wellness Industry is undergoing a remarkable transformation. Driven by changing consumer aspirations and growing awareness around personal wellbeing, social commerce and digital entrepreneurship, the sector has emerged as a powerful engine of employment and self-employment. From the rapidly expanding gig economy and luxury salons to premium wellness centres, hospitality, aesthetics, cosmetics, retail and entrepreneurship, the industry continues to create diverse career pathways for skilled professionals.
At the heart of this growth lies one undeniable reality: Beauty & Wellness is, and will continue to be, a deeply human profession.
In today’s age when AI is transforming industries across the globe through automation, there is a strong need to adopt international courses of enhance skill levels of the Indian talent pool.
Recognising this opportunity, the CII–Skillbulls partnership aims to bridge the gap between industry demand and skilled talent by delivering globally benchmarked employment and self-employment oriented programmes. The collaboration will introduce specialised international programmes across Hair, Skin, Nails and Beauty, designed in consultation with global beauty and wellness giants to prepare learners for careers in premium salons, luxury hospitality, wellness brands, aesthetic clinics, beauty retail, entrepreneurship and the rapidly growing global beauty economy.
The programmes are being developed with a strong emphasis on experiential learning, practical training and industry immersion. Learners will gain hands-on exposure through an industry-aligned curriculum, expert-led instruction, contemporary techniques and workplace simulations that reflect real-world, global industry practices. Beyond technical proficiency, the programmes will also nurture customer experience, professional etiquette, business acumen and entrepreneurial capabilities.
