Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Masters in Social Work/Sociology.
Experience: 
— At least three years’ experience of facilitating implementation of the national programme at district level.
— Previous work experience with civil society organizations

Skills required: 
— Strong facilitation and people mobilization skills, especially in mobilizing Government systems.
— Sound knowledge of rural livelihoods and practices, Skill Development for income, Health & Hygiene, Community development, infrastructure development, Formation of SHGs, etc.
— Good in report writing, content writing, event writing, case study etc.
— Enthusiastic and passionate
— Ability to effectively develop coordination with the government stakeholders
— Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team.
— Ability to think laterally and act through reasoned decision-making Ability to travel extensively to block and villages and gather first-hand information on program quality.
— Willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
— Experience of supporting block level implementation and problem-solving.
— Good knowledge of computer applications and operations especially in MS Office.
— Excellent command over spoken and written English & Hindi.

Job Overview: The District Coordinator is a member of project team responsible for achieving desirable results of the project in the assigned district. The District Coordinator is primarily responsible to operationalize program activities in the assigned districts to achieve the impact committed in the project proposal. S/he is responsible for coordinating, facilitating and providing necessary support to the Project Manager in program expansion within the state. S/he will be responsible for the overall service delivery for the community as per the project performance indicators and managing a team of village resource persons assigned to the project. S/he is also responsible for upholding organizational core values, program management and achieving results in a defined geographical area.

Roles and Responsibilities:
— Engage with Government Department and other stakeholders to provide need based technical and operational support for effective implementation of activities related to IVD project.
— Ensure quality and timely implementation of activities in the assigned district, in line with the project design framework.
— Ensure quality and timely reporting from the assigned district to the HQ’s project team
— Provide necessary technical support to the program in scaling up proven high impact interventions to other districts of the states
— Assist in social mobilization interventions aimed at improving community participation in various interventions being implemented in the assigned district.
— Engagement and capacity building with Self Help Groups to provide community linkages with local available state level social welfare schemes.
— Ensure the appropriate directives and guidelines are issued for effective implementation of program interventions.
— Present overall status of the assigned district of activity implementation in the monthly review.
— Submit the report of each of the activity including quality and quantity to Program Manager (IVD).
— Responsible for weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly report writing, record keeping, facilitate decision making and to prepare proposals and budgets based on the past experience and data analysis.
— Undertake a continuous track of the project activities and the cost incurred and to ensure cost effective implementation.
— Support in developing a mechanism in the assigned district to monitor progress of implementation of IVD indicators, identify gaps and provide necessary support to Program Manager (IVD) in assigned districts
— Preparing of MPR (Monthly Progress Report) and QPR (Quarterly Progress Report) in according provided formats.
— Organize events management that includes Exposure Visit, Workshop, Meetings, Training program etc.
— Prepare and maintain case studies and success stories of all interventions of the project
— Facilitate the documentation of best practices and share with Headquarters Office.
— Manage a team of Resource Persons and work in close coordination with Project Manager and ensure that the project activities are being implemented as per the project implementation plan.
