EOI invited for empanelment of Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) to undertake Long Duration and Short Duration skill development courses

Chandigarh : The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India initiated DDU-GKY program with an objective to provide market driven employment oriented skills to rural unemployed youth aged between 18 years to 35 years to empower them with the job ready skills. Punjab Skill Development Mission is working Under Department of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Govt. of Punjab is the Nodal Agency for implementation of program in the state of Punjab. The DDU-GKY programme with Long duration (1152 Hours or more) and Short duration courses (576 Hours) of SSCs/NCVT/MES is to be implemented in 22 districts of Punjab State.

Eligibility Criteria :

1. PSDM intends to take up proposal from the Project Implementing Agencies registered with Ministry of Rural Development (PIAs with valid Permanent Registration Number
2. Interested training partners should submit the proposal as per the application format available at erp.ddugky.info

Note:

Guidelines and notifications issued time to time by Govt. of India/ Govt. of Punjab/MoRD/PSDM shall be applicable for the project sanction.
Training partners may apply online and download the user guide available at ddugky.gov.in/prn for allotment of Permanent Registration Number (PRN) issued by MoRD
For Pre PRN Training, Interested training providers may write to mis.psdm@gmail.com. PSDM will facilitate the training program with
the help of NIRD&PR, if enough number of participants request is received on or before 06 March 2019.

Proposal Application Fee : Agencies have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) in favor of ‘Mission Director’ through NEFT/RTGS, account details provided below:

Submission of Proposals : Please refer MoRD Notification No. 20/2017, dated 03.04.2017 available at http://ddugky.gov.in/notifications for Proposal submission, appraisal, PIA categorization and on boarding guidelines.

The target per district per annum would be decided in due course of time based upon the remarks of the Project Approval Committee. Please refer Annexure-I for list of priority courses under which the skill trainings are intended to be implemented in the state of Punjab.

Proposals are invited from Category A, B and C type Project Implementing Agencies, However Preference will be given to those Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) who are from Industry and who will provide captive & foreign employment to the trained candidates.

Interested agencies fulfilling eligibility conditions as mentioned above can submit their detailed proposal for undertaking Skill Development under DDUGKY Program. The proposal submission window for online submission of proposal and consideration for evaluation will be from the date of notification of this EOI to 31.03.2019.
