CMPDI Partners Frontline Global Services to Train Jharkhand Youth in Healthcare Skills

Ranchi: Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI), a Mini Ratna public sector enterprise and a wholly owned subsidiary of Coal India Limited has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Frontline Global Services (FGS), Ranchi, to provide residential training for the job role of Phlebotomy Technician under Healthcare Skills to 60 unemployed youth from Jharkhand under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme for FY 2026-27.

CMPDI has sanctioned ₹73.62 lakh for the initiative, which aims to equip young people with industry-relevant healthcare skills, practical training, and professional certification to enhance their employability and create sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The MoA was exchanged by Sanjay Kadambar, General Manager (HR/CSR) and Nodal Officer (CSR), CMPDI, and Nilofer Ara, Trustee, Frontline Global Services (FGS), Ranchi. Officials from CMPDI Headquarters’ HR/CSR Department and representatives of Frontline Global Services were present during the signing ceremony.

Under the initiative, 60 unemployed youth from Jharkhand will undergo residential training in the Phlebotomy Technician course. The residential format is intended to provide participants with intensive technical instruction and hands-on practical exposure.

The training will equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required for blood sample collection and assistance in diagnostic procedures. Upon successful completion of the programme, trainees will be eligible to work as certified phlebotomy technicians across healthcare settings, including hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, blood banks, nursing homes, physicians’ clinics, diagnostic centres, infusion centres, blood donation centres, and other healthcare institutions.

The programme will combine industry-focused training, practical exposure, and certification, with the objective of improving participants’ employment prospects and preparing them for opportunities in the healthcare sector.

The initiative forms part of CMPDI’s ongoing CSR efforts focused on skill development, youth empowerment, and sustainable livelihood creation. Through the programme, the company aims to strengthen the link between skill development and employment while supporting the demand for trained healthcare professionals.

CMPDI continues to undertake CSR initiatives in areas including education, skill development, and employment-oriented training to support local communities. Its partnership with Frontline Global Services is aimed at providing market-oriented skills to youth and enabling them to pursue meaningful employment opportunities in the healthcare sector.
