KEF is looking for Content Development – Manager who will be responsible for designing & Developing content for strengthening leadership and managerial practices of school leaders of vernacular medium low budget schools.

Eligibility Requirements:
Age: 32 – 50 years
Educational Qualification: Masters (Psychology) /Masters(Education)/ MBA/ Media Education/ Master (English Literature)
Experience: minimum 8 years and at least 3 years in content role of the nature of course and program design including assessments
Skills required: Developing Content / Designing learning Editing and managing the content / Train The Trainer on content / Review /school related program training
Job Role
Content Development :
— Develop Content as per the SLDI program design, to strengthen the leadership and managerial practices of school leaders using Adult learning principles, Bloom’s taxonomy and Theory of change.
— Weave in the learning needs coming from field in program design and review the content at regular intervals
Research :
— Collating and providing Research and case studies on local and global frameworks on School leadership. How education can be used for poverty eradication. Central and state level government policies pertaining to teaching learning in budget schools, role of head teacher.
— Provide perspective on various school leadership development related issues for Facilitators learning.
Training Facilitators & Team Development :
— Supervise the content developed by in house and freelance content developers. Mentoring the Assistant Manager and other content developers.
— Providing training tor facilitators and ensuring proficiency in content/skills/knowledge /competencies required for delivery and reaching expected outcomes
— Creating mechanism to Capture and document the learning and success stories in field Set up a mechanism to capture progress of facilitators development
Monitoring :
— Planning/setting up milestones and mechanism to monitor the progress/development of content development and generating reports
— Generate reports of work in progress to measure movement towards desired outcomes
Relationship Management (Internal & External) :
— Work closely with Facilitators and support them thru the program Maintain good rapport with the school leaders thru regular visits
— Maintain good communication with project head to understand and interpret needs of the program
Reporting & Data :
— Document all created modules and programs as per the guidelines of the department Regular reporting as desired by project head
She/He will be reporting to the Project Head. We expect the incumbent to be with high levels of energy and passion. Mumbai resident candidates will only be preferred.

Kotak Education Foundation (KEF) is an NGO operating in the space of Education and Livelihood since 2007. Its primary focus is to help poor children and youth to be empowered through education and livelihood respectively, such that their family will rise out of poverty and they can live a life of dignity. It runs numerous projects having Student Interventions (Spoken English teaching, Health, Scholarship, Mentoring), Teacher Intervention (Training school teachers), School Leadership Intervention (Helping build Principals as School Leaders), Parent Intervention (Counselling parents to support child development) and Vocational Training to youth at 8 centres in Mumbai / Thane. Most of the interventions are conducted through partnership with 28 schools which cater to underprivileged children. KEF has support functions in the form of Finance, HR, IT, Admin and Research.
KEF is planning a growth of 100% in its scale in the next 2 years, with totally about 35+ schools to be partnered with and 15+ vocational training centres. KEF’s presence is and will continue in Mumbai and to some extent in neighboring districts (Thane and Raigad).
