Position: Coordinator – District office
No. of Vacancies: 05 ( 1 for each locaiton)

Locations: Yawatmal ( Maharashtra), Barananki ( Uttar Pradesh), Gonda ( Uttar Pradesh), Hazaribag ( Jarkhand), Chatra ( Jharkhand)

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Master degree in Social work, Sociology or any other relevant post graduate level degree

Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in the education and/or area of child rights and programme implementation

Skills required: 
— Fluent in English Hindi / Marathi and ability to write in English and Hindi / Marathi
— Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
— Able to understand and read complexity of the community
— Skill of problem solving and multitasking
— Excellent organizational skills
— Must be comfortable working with a flexible and demanding work schedule and environment.
— Ability to build rapport and develop positive relationships with community residents
— Ability to work as a member of a diverse team and be an effective leader who can create a warm and encouraging team dynamic
— Produces high-quality, meticulous and detailed written work
— Is able to create, manage and work within budgets
— Willingness and flexibility to move seamlessly from role to role depending on the context

Roles and Responsibilities:
— Prepare annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly plans for the programme implementation with support from Sr. Coordinator and Dy. Director
— Support the Senior Coordinator and Deputy Executive Director(Programmes) in developing and executing field strategies and programme monitoring and evaluation plans to maximize the impact of MelJol programme activities
— Implement the project at district level to carry out the planned activities with the given specific budgets and time line
— Coordinate all activities at State level for programme such as liaison with government authorities and other stakeholders such as banks, post offices etc.
— Work closely with the Sr Coordinator to monitor key indicators for ongoing assessment and evaluation of programme
— Supervise and guide the work of the facilitators / teachers through regular visits, meetings, mentoring and direct advice and counsel to ensure the quality of Programme delivery.
— Build the capacity of the immediate team , facilitators and teachers to implement the programme
— Prepare quality, analytical and timely reports and other documents to be reported to MelJol’s head office on a periodic basis
— Report the Field office related expenditure and maintain records of the transactions entered at the field level on regular basis to the MelJol head office.
— Represent MelJol at various fora as necessary
