The Capital Goods & Strategic Skill Council (CGSSC) has collaborated with Udyog Mitra, Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Project. The MoU was signed by Ms. Shalini Singh, CEO, CGSSC, and the Principal Secretary, Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, in presence of other dignitaries, marking a significant step towards strengthening industry-aligned skill development in the state.
The collaboration aims to facilitate sector-specific training for candidates across Bihar, aligned with the evolving requirements of the MSME sector. By leveraging CGSSC’s technical expertise, professional resources and industry connect, the initiative seeks to enhance employability, strengthen workforce capabilities and create improved livelihood opportunities.
The partnership will also support MSMEs through access to relevant skills and emerging technologies, contributing to improved productivity, innovation and competitiveness. It aligns with the broader objectives of the RAMP Project to strengthen Centre-State collaboration and accelerate MSME development through technology upgradation, digitisation, market access and sustainable growth.
