Puttur : A programme to inaugurate Centre for Skill and Entrepreneurship Development (CSED) and the launch of an Electronic Skill Training Centre was held at St Philomena College.
Dr Vijay Kumar L, chairman, national committee on IT and electronic sector, Government of India inaugurated the Centre for Skill and Entrepreneurship Development (CSED) and launched Electronic Skill Training Centre (ESTC). Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament, Dakshina Kannada constituency was chief guest. Srinivas A N, regional head, south-ESSCI delivered a special address.
Rohith Mehra, director general, PMJAY and vice president, Electronic Sector Skill Council of India (ESSCI), Government of India, Fr Alfred J Pinto, correspondent of the college, Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, campus director and chairperson, centre for PG studies and research, Dr Anila Deepak Shetty, district president, BSS NITI Ayog, Government of India were present and graced the occasion.
Sahana Rao and team invoked God’s choicest blessings. Professor Leo Noronha, principal welcomed the gathering. Professor Ganesh Bhat, associate professor in mathematics compered the programme.
