Position: Manager – Quality Education

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Postgraduate / Graduate in preferably Education/ Social Work/ Development Studies
Experience:
— 10 years of experience, at least 5 years should be in the area of Education
— Experience of conducting training, developing curriculums, designing teaching methodologies
Skills required:
— Passionate in the work of education and having considerable experience
— Ability to organize leadership development programs for the teams and teachers in the area of education
— Conversant with developing log frames and reporting based on Log frame
— Ability to work with diversified teams and a good team player
— Willingness to travel as required by the program needs. The position is based in Hyderabad and required travel to other states
— High quality writing and communication skills
— Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently & managing emergency situations
— Language proficiency in English and Hindi is essential
Position Overview: The Manager – Quality Education will be responsible for ensuring quality education for Rainbow Home Children. The position provides strategic support to the national program unit in terms of capacitating the state teams, home teams and planning creative academic & educational activities with the support of state offices to ensure quality Education. The person is expected to be part of the multi- disciplinary team of RFI at a national level and work in close coordination with various departments and state teams within RFI.
Roles and Responsibilities:
— Provide strategic planning support to state teams, partners and direct implementation team for quality Education.
— Designing comprehensive academic formats.
— Establishing linkages with various resource agencies those contribute to the strategic plans with in the states
— Support the program designing team in creating integrated academic plans for the following year.
— Regular Capacity building and monitoring of the implementing partners and Rainbow Homes to ensure quality Education for the children.
— Designing tools to capture best education practices and documenting them.
— Plan education programs for Rainbow Homes children,
— Coordinating implementation status of academic plans with various state units of RFI and compiling status reports.
— Drive impact assessment; identify areas of improvement and remedial action.
— Close coordination with RFI state offices and partners for smooth functioning
— Following ethical and value frame work of the organization while working with diverse stakeholders.
Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and skills up to Rs. 50000 to Rs.55000 per month

Rainbow Foundation India is a national umbrella organization functioning for a comprehensive residential care of former street children, living and working on the streets in partnership with 26 partner NGOs and Government. Today we have a total of 3468 children cared by us with 2680 girls in Rainbow homes and 788 boys in Sneh Ghars who are living a new life of hope and independence after giving up the street existence of turmoil, suffering and despair. Having headquarters in Hyderabad, we are working in collaboration with the local state governments in 7 cities – Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Patna, Kolkata, Delhi & Pune and also aim to expand the program to other cities in India. We work with local organizations in establishing and running homes to vulnerable and homeless children. Association for Rural and Urban needy (ARUN) works with marginalized communities in urban and rural areas particularly with Dalits, Safai karmacharis, children without adult care and distressed communities. ARUN acts as the coordinating agency between Rainbow Foundation India (RFI) and our 26 partners speared across 7 cities.
