Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (Client) invites RFP proposals for Selection of Agency for providing Training Consulting services for modernization and upgradation of ICT & Electronics Training services of KEONICS across Karnataka.
The RFP is open to all eligible companies and firms. The Applicant will be selected under Quality and Cost based Selection (QCBS) and procedures described in this RFP.
Background:
KEONICS ICT & Electronics Training services: KEONICS Education division is empowering the students and youths of Karnataka through multifaceted education & training initiatives by providing access to digital technology for learnings and by upskilling the students and youths to enhance their employability requirements of industries in Karnataka. KEONICS IT Education division has a network of over 130 training centers across Karnataka at Districts, Taluks and Hoblis which provides training, upskilling, reskilling to students, working professionals, etc. The training centers are fully equipped with IT, allied infrastructure, Internet facilities and are managed by trained faculty / staff.
KEONICS’s IT course materials have been formulated to include basic IT skills and advanced IT skills including information security & cybercrime. KEONICS also provides bespoke ICT training to Government
employees as per requirements of their Government Departments / Agencies. KEONICS now intends to appoint an Agency for providing Training Consulting services for modernization and upgradation of its ICT & Electronics Training services across Karnataka.
Scope of Work:
The broad scope of services to be provided by the Agency shall be in the following areas (including but not limited to):

- Study of existing ICT & Electronics Training services of KEONICS, workforce requirements, current policies of Karnataka, Centre of Excellence (CoEs), emerging technologies, industry consultations, etc.
- Skill Gap Analysis, Business Process Reengineering and ICT learning, curriculum and course designs.
- Partnerships with technology industry, public sector undertakings, premier educational institutions, research organizations, startups, etc.
- Development of ICT & Electronics Training Policy 2026 of KEONICS.
- Development of Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) for the implementation, operations, monitoring, evaluation, improvement of ICT & Electronics Training Policy 2026.
- Deploy key professional staff required for the assignment.
- Any other activities, services, schemes, programs, etc. as required by the client.
