GTTC Invites Bids To Establish AI Lab

Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) intends to establish Integrated AI Lab, powered by the NVIDIA DGX B200 and other NVIDIA or Equivalent products/technologies /equivalent or better on Turn-Key basis. The objective is to establish a state-of-the-art Integrated AI Lab for skilling, research, innovation, incubation, digital manufacturing, computer vision, robotics, generative AI, machine learning, deep learning, digital twin, HPC and industry-oriented AI applications. In view of that, GTTC invites bid tender from interested companies for its setup.

Eligibility Criteria:

Bidder’s Eligibility: Manufacturer(OEM) / Manufacturer’s Authorised Partner
Minimum Average Annual Turnover Qualifying Criteria
For OEM: Rs 500 Cr
For Authorised Dealer- Bidder: Rs 24 Cr
Similar Nature of work execution in any one of the last 4 financial years
One Purchase Order of at least Rs 12 Cr, or
Two Purchase Orders totalling Rs 14 Cr, or
Three Purchase Orders totalling Rs 16 Cr

Scope of Work:

The proposed solution shall provide an integrated AI computing environment suitable for training, inference, model development, simulation, research and enterprise AI deployment. Complete solution including all the components with integration of Hardware, Software, Installation, and Commissioning given in the scope of shall be the responsibility of the Bidder.

The Integrated AI Lab at GTTC shall provide a High-Performance Computing (HPC) facility for its Training Centres and would promote the following activities at GTTC:

Skill Development & Research
Assisted Learning & Access to Study material
Introduction of Integrated AI Courses
Research Projects
Specialized Training Programs in AI, ML & Data Science
Short Term Training Programs (STTP)
Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Projects
Better Placement Opportunities for Students
AI based Incubation & Start-up Support

Further GTTC also intends to Train 50 Master Trainers for skilling across the State of Karnataka Technical Note on Schedule of Requirement. These high-end AI assets cannot function in isolation and a complete integration of NVIDIA proprietary products with additional supporting infrastructure is mission critical to run as one integrated system. Therefore, the following aspects must be ensured

Technical Integration & Compatibility: The auxiliary components (Management Servers, Storage, Networking, Smart Rack, Training, Manpower Resource etc) must be perfectly integrated to ensure performance and safety.
Single-Point Accountability: Procuring these items individually through different categories would lead to compatibility risks. A single SITC (Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning) bid ensures that one vendor is responsible for the complete integration
and functioning of the Integrated AI Lab.
Consolidated Evaluation: As all items are interdependent, we require a Total Value Wise Evaluation where one price is quoted for the entire bid package to maintain technical harmony.
