Bathinda : A skill development-cum-self employment camp for the students of Government Girls Senior Secondary School was inaugurated today on the school premises. The camp is being held for the students by Diamond Welfare Society to prepare the students to be self reliant and also be a helping hand for their families after completing higher secondary studies.
President of the society, Veenu Goyal said the camp would be held for 21 days and as many as 1,600 women and girls had already registered themselves for this camp. Society director MK Manna said during the camp, the participants will be trained in skills like hand work, machine embroidery, soft toy making, tie and dye, rangoli making, painting, flower making, food processing, etc.
