Expression of Interest (Eol) for empanelment of Training Centres (TC’s) for imparting skill training under PM-DAKSH for the financial year 2024-25
Overview:
Department of Social Justice & Empowerment implements Pradhan Mantri Dakshata aur Kushalta Sampann Hitgrahi (PM-DAKSH) Yojana for providing high quality skills through good quality institutions to empower the target groups in finding jobs or self-employment ventures. A copy of the revised scheme guideline has been made available on the Department’s website i.e. https://socialjustice.gov.in/schemes/100
Department is contemplating to empanel for 2024-25 competent and desirous Government and Private Training Institutes having sufficient academic and physical infrastructure, with good track record of performance. Accordingly, the Department invites Expression of Interest (Eol) for empanelment of Training Centres (TC’s) for imparting training under PM-DAKSH for the financial year 2024-25.
From Scheme Guidelines (Para 7.3):
DoSJEwill approve the target allocation methodology under the Scheme keeping in mind the futuristic job roles, data of skill gap study, mandatory provision of ‘On the Job Training’ in the course structure, new job roles like Yoga Instructor which has market potentialetc. Allocation of targets to training Institute will be done in the order of preference:
- Recruit-Train-Deploy (RTD) model, where the potential employer provides an offer letter to the training provider for employing skilled human resources
- Providing or ensuring part payment of the training cost through a tie-up with industry.
- Apprenticeship model, wherein, supporting letters will be provided from Industry Partners for offering Apprenticeship to the trained candidates.
If the information provided by the organization meets the requirement of PM-DAKSH Scheme and upon recommendation and approval of the competent authority, MoA will be signed between DoSJE and training institute for imparting training under the scheme for FY 2024-25
