Andhra Chief Minister asked delegates to setup Google Development Centre in Amaravati

Guntur ( Andhra Pradesh ) : Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said the AP government had emulated the creativity and innovation in work spaces in Google Corporation in the secretariat of the new Capital.

The CM told a visiting delegation of software managers from Google that the American multi technology firm had been identified with ‘Creativity’ and asked it to introduce technologies which make people happy. He also asked it to set up a development centre in Amaravati.

Reminding them of the efforts he had made in promoting Hyderabad as a global destination for software firms like Google, Microsoft and Oracle, he said the new Capital would be developed on par with the Silicon Valley. The delegation included Jocelyn, Aleks, Nikita, Rafael, Sam, Hillary, Lakshmi, Trimurthy and Chairman of VVIT, V. Vidya Sagar.

Mr. Naidu also complimented the AP State Skill Development Corporation for organizing the first-ever workshop in the world by experts from Google, U.S. on “Android Developer Fundamentals” for the faculty members from engineering colleges all over the State.

More than 100 faculty members from 96 colleges participated in this workshop.
