Gurugram : Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, formally known as Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University (Enacted by Govt of Haryana under the Act of Legislature 25 of 2016) invites applications for the following positions:
a) Assistant Professor (Music- Vocal) – One (01)
The incumbent should be MA in Music (Vocal) and NET qualified. An experience of minimum 3 years in teaching of music is mandatory. Candidates with proficiency in playing musical instruments will be preferred. Candidates with doctorate will be given due preference.
b) Skill Instructor (Music- Instrumental) – One (01)
The incumbent should be a Graduate/Post Graduate in music (instrumental) with minimum 3-5 years of experience in teaching/ performance. Preference would be given to those candidates who can play harmonium, tabla, dholak, flute, etc with proficiency.
All India Radio graded musical instruments artists (A grade) can also apply.
c) Empanelment of Visiting Faculty for GIS
The incumbent should be qualified subject matter experts in GIS, who can teach post-graduate diploma in geo-informatics students in the relevant fields. Should preferably be a doctorate/ post-graduate in relevant fields like remote sensing, GIS, digital image processing, application of geo-informatics in environment, agriculture, disaster management, urban planning, natural resource management, navigation, etc. Experts with teaching or research or industrial experience would be preferred.
d) Office Assistant – One (01)
The incumbent should be minimum 10+2 pass with Diploma in Computers and 3 years’ experience. Proficiency in Hindi typing and data management is mandatory.

Posts mentioned in Paras (a), (b) & (c) are to be filled on contractual basis. The visiting/ adjunct faculty would be engaged as on required basis and paid honorarium as per existing rates of the University for period of their engagement.
