ITI visited, extracurrucular activities & curricula reviewed in Kishtwar, J&K by Ahmed Tak, MLC, JKPDP

Kishtwar: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Firdous Ahmed Tak, visited Industrial Training Institite (ITI).

During the visit, Principal, ITI Kishtwar, apprised the MLC of various achievements made by the institute in curricular and extracurricular sphere and also highlighted the difficulties being faced by the institute due to lack of infrastructure.

On this occasion, Principal demanded early construction of additional classrooms to accommodate increasing strength of students in the institute. He further stated that the students of ITI Kishtwar are bestowed with natural intellect and are second to none in talent and capacity.

Tak toured the premises of the institute including class rooms and Computer Lab. He also interacted with staff and students of the institute. He said that the students have to face new challenges at National and International level to compete in different streams and accordingly it is need of the hour to provide them education of par excellence in the Government as well as private institutions of higher learning. He stressed on better teacher-student relationship for ensuring bright future of new generation. Students apprised him about various problems being faced by them and demanded that concerned Minister should visit the institution.

Tak assured that he would take up the issues with concerned minister and would get back to institution with more schemes and infrastructure. He also advised the ITI students to opt such trades and subjects which would help them in getting private or Government jobs in coming future.

Other senior leaders who accompanied the MLC were PDP district president, Sheikh Nasir, vice president, Jaffer Babzada and senior youth leader, Rashid Lone.
