Bengaluru : Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC) and the department of collegiate education collaborated to open skill development and career guidance centres in 726 government and government-aided degree colleges across Karnataka, where students will be guided on how to improve their personalities apart from learning the Japanese and German languages. They will also be taught how to make impactful resumes and will be given pre-recruitment training.
KSDC chairman Murlidhar Halappa said: “The idea is to improve employment opportunities for students. It’ll be a one-stop centre for information about recruitment drives, employment opportunities and competitive exams.” Apart from this, the centres will have regular interactive session and workshops by experts from fields like administrative services, technology and marketing and policymakers.
