Chief Minister to launch ‘Hum chhoo lenge aasman’ on May 21

Bhopal : State Government is going to start the ‘Hum chhoo lenge aasman’ for career guidance of the students. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch the scheme on May 21 at Model School Bhopal and will talk to students on phone from 10 am to 11 am. Under this scheme students who passing in Class XII will be guided by modern techniques and counseling experts about various careers and academic options in the future. In addition, students failing in Class XI and XII exam, will be exposed to skill development, self-employment and various employment options.

Under the ‘Hum chhoo lenge aasman’ scheme, students who have secured 70 per cent or more marks in Class XII will be guided by counseling experts about various career and academic options from May 21 to May 31 and students who score less than 70 per cent marks in Class XII will be guided from June 4 to June 14, 2018. Besides this, students who pass in Class X and those who failed in Class XI and Class XII will be provided guidance regarding various options in skill development, self-employment and employment from June 18 to 28, 2018.

Counselors will be appointed in each district by the Departments of Higher Education, School Education, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment for successful implementation of ‘Hum chhoo lenge aasman’ scheme. Collectors can also appoint counselors at their level if there is additional need. District level implementation committees will establish two or more than two counseling centres in each district. Directions have been given to ensure quality of theoretical class and IT lab while establishing counselling centres so that counselling can be made available both online and offline. A committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Collector for the successful implementation of the scheme at the district level. Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, Principal of Lead College of Higher Education Department, District level ITI/Engineering/Polytechnic College Principal and District Employment Officer will be members of the committee. District Education Officer will be nodal officer of the committee.
