Nagaland chief minister, T.R. Zeliang asked schools and colleges to tie up with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to improve the overall skill of students along with their academic development.
Speaking as the chief guest at the golden jubilee of Kohima Science College Students’ Union (KSCSU) celebrated with the theme “valuing learning, learning values” at the college premises, Zeliang assured to extend support in carrying forward the mission of skill development in the state. On the occasion, Zeliang also lauded KSC of being the second college in Northeast to be accredited A-grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2011.
The Chief minister also reminded the college authorities and students community to maintain the mission statement of the college, such as- multi dimensional growth of students, equipping them with reflective and analytical thinking, preparing them for responsible citizenship and becoming agents of social change.
