Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) has been bestowed with an award for being best state across India in skill development sector during summit “Summit cum Awards on Skilling India-the way forward”. organized by industry body ASSOCHAM in Delhi on Tuesday. While giving award to the state, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy praised the efforts taken in skill development of youth in the state and making them employable at various sectors.
Bhuvnesh Kumar, Secretary, Department of Technical Education and director of UP’s Skill Development Mission, Surendra Singh received the award on behalf of the state. Congratulating UP’s skill development team, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said UP was working continuously to provide jobs to unemployed youth in the state and added that the Samajwadi government in the state had realized the high potential of this sector, started working on strengthening it.
