Uttarakhand Govt. signed MoUs to boost job creation for skilled youths’

Dehradun: Department of Technical Education and Uttarakhand Skill Development Society signed two memorandums of understanding (MoU) to implement pilot convergence programme on English, employability and entrepreneurship in various polytechnics and IT centres across the state. “These MoUs signed with MEPSC for English, employability and entrepreneurship (EEE) would bring a drastic impact to make these skilled youths employable,” said Ranjit Sinha, secretary, department of skill development and employment.

“The programme is one of a kind. It would help imbibe employability skills among the pass-out candidates of the polytechnics and make them industry ready,” he added. Project director of Uttarakhand Skill Development Society, Ahmad Iqbal, said, “We are looking forward to the implementation of the EEE programme. UKSDS will continue to play a pivotal role in providing skills to the youths of the state and also making them employable.”
