Position: Project Coordinator
Reporting to: Program Manager, Livelihoods
Shift Timings: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Working Days: Mondays to Saturdays
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (Headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka with pan India operations)
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Degree or equivalent experience in design, development, management, entrepreneurship, social sciences, engineering or related fields
Experience: 2 to 5 years
Skills required:
— A keen interest in crafts, design & exploring the energy-livelihood nexus
— Work experience in the field of livelihoods preferred
— Willingness to travel
— Knowledge of Kannada is preferred not required
Job Description: The Project Coordinator will work with the livelihood team to identify, develop, implement and monitor artisan livelihood related projects (such as solar looms, silk reeling, pottery etc). The role includes aspects of:
Livelihood analysis and eco system creation (i.e. Connecting energy and livelihoods through appropriate market linkage, design, financial, technological and social solutions), creating, implementing and documenting innovative models so that they can be easily replicated, partnership development & management, monitoring and evaluation and impact assessment.
