Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Masters degree in social/humanities/management

Experience: 3-4 yrs in managing Vocational Skills / Development Sector Programs associating with a NGO or Foundation. Working experience in building relationship with Government and corporate.

Skills required: 
— Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Hindi
— Mobility, speed and initiation
— Operational excellence in program management
— Ability to work with the both internal and external stakeholders
— Ability to work with both private and government sector
— Ability to manage things on own capacity
— Good at using computers
— Familiarity with both public and private vocational skills program

Job Description:

Purpose:To design, develop and operationalize trainings / workshops / camps / programs / activities in the area of vocational skills targeting the villages, schools and plant locations where SRF Foundation is operational.

Dimensions:
People Related: Has to coordinate with Village Leadership, Education Officials, Program
Schools, SRF Officials (HO / Plant Location), Field Staff, Resource
Persons (Training Facilitators), Alliances and  Partner Agencies

Financial: The incumbent has to prepare all program related budgets from time to time and mobilize the resources through partnerships, manage and monitor it

Organizational Relationships
— Director, SRF Foundation
— Program Officer – MRVP & CSR within SRF

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
— Conceptualize, design, and manage Vocational Skills program aimed at youth.
— Liaison with Stakeholders.
— Build, guide and coordinate the efforts of field staff at ground level and facilitate program implementation.
— Mobilize and engage community in program planning and execution process.
— Facilitate partners, donors and interns / volunteers visit to the project locations
— Prepare annual action plans / budgets and monitor the progress
— Document the process and best practices and disseminate
— Represent Foundation at various district, state and national forums
— Work with Director – Foundation in promotion of CSR within SRF
— As a member of the leadership, take ownership in building the brand of SRF Foundation by fulfilling the needs of all stakeholders of MRVP & CSR within SRF in line with the values of SRF Foundation.

Nature of Program Staff Support
Field Team, Project Team of MRVP and CSR teams at plant location would be supportive to the Program Officer – MRVP & CSR within SRF.

Working Relationships with
— Director, SRF Foundation – Overall guidance in designing and conducting of the Programmes and activities offered by MRVP & CSR within SRF.
— CSR champions and teams at plant locations.
— Resource Persons (Training Facilitators) – day to day coordinating and overseeing their activities in relation to conducting the Programmes and Activities
— SRF Foundation Administrator – Day to day
— SRF Foundation team members – as necessary
— External ( and Internal- TSRS) Stakeholders- as necessary

Challenges /Complexity of Job
— Program visioning and ownership.
— Ability to influence the Stakeholders.
— Ability to develop need based proposals interacting with different stakeholders and customizing the solution
— Ability to customize solutions based on the needs of target audience.
— Knowledge of contemporary Vocational Skills Program and models in private and public sector
— Ability to facilitate training / workshop sessions both with targeted employment, entrepreneur and marketing linkage.
— Ability to travel extensively to the field
— Maintaining timelines towards deliverable

–Full freedom has been given to run the program as a CEO / Full Life Cycle Leader taking end to end responsibility of the Vocational Skills Program.

  • Promotion of CSR within SRF in association with Director – SRF Foundation.
