Position: Subject Expert – English
Location: Kolkata, West Bengal
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Masters in English will be preferred (minimum B.A. English Honours)
Skills required:
— Strong command over English language – both written and spoken
— Ability to work in a multicultural environment
— Ability to teach students at all learning levels
— Team player, cooperative with an ability to organise and lead activities
— An eye for details, research bent of mind and reflective thinking abilities
— Willingness to learn and try new and innovative teaching styles and strategies and implement them in the classroom
Project Overview: Vikramshila will be undertaking an Action Research Project in a few city schools which requires a subject expert in English to work with a team of experts to carry out the pilot.
Roles and Responsibilities:
— Module Development for Communicative English
— Working with Government Schools – regular classes, camps, trainings, visits, assessments
— Collecting and collating data
— Reflective documentation on both qualitative and quantitative
— Work for other program activities with team as and when required
Remuneration: INR 16,000/- per month

Note:
— Candidates should be willing to travel outstation as and when necessary for the project
