Ministry of Skill Development, NSDC and Apollo Medskills formulated ‘eMBA Programme in Health Care Management under Skill India’

Ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship (MSDE), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Skill India, and Apollo Medskills will collaborate with SDM Institutions to initiate an executive MBA programme in Health Care Management. The duration of the programme is 15 months and it will be commenced on Saturday. D Veerendra Heggade, dharmadhikari, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala will inaugurate the programme. the e-MBA programme aims to mitigate shortage of health care managers by providing training to health care managers and experts.

MBA in Health Care Management: Prospects & Career Options

The eligibility for this programme is a graduation degree from recognized university with the candidates. After the successful completion of the programme, e-MBA candidates may be absorbed in corporate hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic centres, pharmacies, health department, medical institutions as assistant managers, human resource managers, finance managers, marketing managers, assistant director, director and so on.

About the Health Care Management Programme

In order to make it plan a reality SDM Institutions has entered into an MoU with Apollo Medskills to train the manpower for domestic and international markets. Initially, the intake will be 40 against the approved intake of 240 to ensure quality training for the students. Classes will be conducted from 5pm-8pm by way of online/webinars, case analysis, lectures in person, consultation, virtual class rooms, internet interaction session, digital training programme.

The comprehensive 15 months training programme also includes a three months intensive training which will be held in a recognized hospital.
